Race Info – Elands Marathon

Race Info and Maps

Race date is 1 MARCH 2025.
42.2 Km starts at Oostelijn Primary School Emgwenya at 05h30am.
21.1 Km starts on the N4 near Fortis Malaga Hotel at 06h00am.
10 Km race starts at the Sappi Skills training centre at 06h00am and is out and back from the Sappi Skills Training Centre.
On the 42.2km race, there will be a cut-off at the 21.1km mark at 09h00. (3hours 30 min)
There will be a cut-off at the 32km mark at 10h45. (5hours 15min)
Final cut-off time on the 42.2km race will be after 6 hours, so the official cut off will occur at 11h30.
There is NO cut off on the 21.1 km race or on the 10km race.
All participants will be removed from the road at 11h30.
A sweep vehicle will be at these points and the participants will be required to leave the race.
The race bib will be removed by the officials in the sweep vehicle.
Both the official qualifying times of Comrades Marathon (04:59:59) and Two Oceans Marathon (04:59:49) will be marked with the firing of a gun.
The final Race cut-off will also be marked with the firing of a gun.
